The homeowner called at 7:40 on a Tuesday morning. The spring had snapped overnight, and the door wouldn’t budge. That’s 200 pounds of door sitting on one good spring and a prayer. We replaced both springs, not just the broken one, because when one goes the other isn’t far behind.
